I've recently become a fan of E-Books. I say recently because it has taken a while to tick all my boxes of:

  • Cheap
  • E-Ink
  • Borrow (UK) library books
  • Read Kindle Books

Low Pressure Shower

There are a lot of thermostatic showers around but most seem a bit shy of giving their flow rate (and non-thermostatic ones are also as bad). The only info I could find was from Aqualisa at the end of their Opto Thermo brochure where there is a comparison of 10 different makes. Naturally the Opto Thermo comes out on top but even so it still has an impressive flow rate of ~10l/min.

I could never get a perfect finish to cut tiles, even a wet diamond blade cutter chips the edge a bit I find. That is until I came up with the idea of using my diamond sharpening pads. I got mine from toolstation but similar can be found at
